It's Official! The Best Steakhouse in Town!
Outback Steakhouse Hong Kong is celebrating a distinguished double after winning Best Steak House of the Year in the OpenRice Best Restaurant Awards 2007; and U Magazine's "U Favorite Food Awards" under the Steakhouse category.
OpenRice is regarded as one of the most popular and influential online dining guides in Hong Kong, a fact substantiated by a recent AC Nielson survey placing it as the most popular gourmet media amongst all web sites, newspapers and magazines in the sector in Hong Kong.

Outback was placed first out of more than 20 steakhouses in Hong Kong in an online vote held by OpenRice conducted in February and March of this year, with participating outlets nominated by the web site's readership throughout 2007.
Set up in 2005 by the HKET Group, U Magazine, with a circulation of over 80,000, is one of the most successful leisure magazines in the Hong Kong market. It focuses on food, travel and shopping, attracting young executives and a wide demographic of aspirational Hong Kong consumers.
Winners of the "U Favorite Food Awards" attracted the most votes in the 'U Favorite Food' online election run by U Magazine on its website. Some 12,600 readers voted for their favorite food in 20 gourmet categories and selected their favorite 106 restaurants in the voting period (Dec 28, 2007 to January 31, 2008)
 Outback's recognition in the OpenRice Best Restaurants Awards and U Magazine's 'U Favorite Food' online Election, are major acknowledgements of customer service and food excellence amongst Hong Kong's food fans.
