Evelyn started her first job at Outback Steakhouse in 2008. She has always felt a very strong sense of belonging and says working at Outback is her job for life. Her long-standing commitment and experience, paved the way for Evelyn to become the Managing Partner of Outback The LOHAS.

What attracted you to work at Outback?

Outback is a place that always values human connection with both our staff and our customers. This comfortable and family-like environment is one of the reasons why I fell in love with Outback at first sight and why I am here for over 12 years. I have also built strong customer rapport. My bond with customers allows me to find enjoyment at work, it is also satisfying to see that they are coming back to Outback more!

What does “No Rules, Just Right” philosophy mean to you personally?
To me, I believe that “putting the customers first” is an essential requirement for anyone working in the service industries. Applying this to Outback’s motto, it reminds my team that we always need to be customer oriented. We need to satisfy the needs of our customers with flexibility at all times, such as providing vegetarian or tailor-made menus or dishes using available ingredients upon request.

How would you like to be remembered by customers?

We want to be the top-of-mind choice, especially when our customers are looking for high-quality food at a reasonable price within The LOHAS. With limited restaurants available nearby, we would also like to inspire our customers with our energy and passion and continue to raise the bar on what our team can offer.

What is your favorite Outback menu dish?
Bloomin’ Onion for sure! The signature Bloomin’ Onion is like a piece of art with the month-watering aroma of a freshly cooked delicacy. The combination of fried onion and Outback’s magic seasoning and sauce makes the whole dish taste perfect. I can even complete the whole Bloomin’ Onion all by myself!

What hobbies or special interests do you pursue in your leisure time?

I enjoy spending quality time with my dog. Just taking it out for a walk or playing on a grassy lawn, means I can easily feel relaxed with any worries on my mind left behind. I call it simplicity with happiness!
