Tony has 20 years of experiences in the food and beverage industry, and he joined Outback a little over two years ago. He also has the WSET Level 3 Diploma in Wines and Spirits. He is currently the Managing Partner of Outback Tai Po Mega Mall.

What attracted you to work at Outback?

The atmosphere at the restaurant is fun and happy, whether it is with the staff or with customers. Also, teamwork is very important here and it gives me a sense of belonging.

What does ‘No Rules, Just Right’ philosophy mean to you personally?

There is flexibility when it comes to serving our customers. We can cater to their specific needs and provide with them the most suitable and delicious choices of food. For example, if a customer is vegetarian, we can add different types of vegetables and fruit in their salad and pasta for them.

How would you like to be remembered by customers?

I want them to notice the casual atmosphere in the restaurant, the warm smile of our team and the comfortable and happy dining experiences they have here.

What is your favorite Outback menu dish?

My favorite dish is the Chocolate Thunder from Down Under. It is a unique dessert with a warm chocolate brownie and cold vanilla ice cream, giving it complex and rich flavors. It is also a sweet ending to a wonderful meal at Outback!

What hobbies or special interests do you pursue in your leisure time?

I spend most of my time taking care of my children. My nine-year-old son loves the Bloomin’ Onion! I recently welcomed a daughter to the family as well. It takes a lot of effort but the joy they bring me is beyond words.
