Richard has been working with Outback for over 18 years and started his career working as a waiter. Through his hard work, determination and perseverance, he has risen through the ranks and is now the Managing Partner of Outback Discovery Park.
What attracted you to work at Outback?
Outback provides employees with so much room for career development within the F&B industry. Ranging from event management to Taiwan shop’s opening, Outback has provided me with the opportunity to learn and equip myself with the knowledge and experience to progress my career. Outback also offers regular training workshops for its staff, which improves our ability to learn and grow through continuous learning.
What does “No Rules, Just Right” philosophy mean to you personally?
It is our commitment to our customers. We strive our best to satisfy the needs of every customer. In addition, it provides the opportunity to really ‘break the ice’ between customers and our employees by allowing us to communicate freely and provide the best Outback experience.
How would you like to be remembered by customers?
We serve every customer with great personality and enthusiasm that we hope more than meets their needs. It is our aim that customers have a relaxing and enjoyable dining experience with our team at Outback.
What is your favorite Outback menu dish?
My favorite dish is "USDA Slow Roasted Prime Rib". This is the most memorable dish when I was a server. The prime rib is a perfect mix of juicy and tasty in Outback’s unique style at an affordable price. I highly recommend it to all of you!
What hobbies or special interests do you pursue in your leisure time?
Despite my intensive work schedule, I like to spend my leisure time with my family, such as playing with my daughter on the beach or going for an outing. I really cherish my time with them.
