FAQ about Upgraded Outback Steakhouse Mobile APP

Outback Steakhouse has launched an upgraded mobile APP. In order to facilitate members to better enjoy the functions of the upgraded mobile APP and have a smoother user experience, we recommend members to read the following FAQs:

 

1.       Is password required to login to Outback Steakhouse Mobile APP?

You no longer require a password. To improve user convenience, we will send a one-time password (OTP) to your registered email or phone number.

2.       Why can't I use my existing email address or mobile number to log in to the new APP?

Please make sure that you are using the correct email address or mobile number.  If you have forgotten the email address or mobile number you used to register, please fill out https://marketing.outback.com.hk/appissue form. Our team will assist you as soon as possible.

3.       Can I sign up for more than one Outback Steakhouse membership with the same phone number?

No. We will merge multiple accounts registered under the same phone number in Jun 2024. If you have more than one Outback VIP Club Membership, your memberships will be merged into the one membership account. If you have both a VIP Club Membership account and a paid Prestige Club Membership account, your membership will be merged into the Prestige Club Membership account. If you have more than one paid Prestige Club Membership account, you have the option to transfer one of the Prestige membership accounts to a friend or family with an alternative phone number. If you have any enquiries about this arrangement, please fill out the https://marketing.outback.com.hk/membershipcontactform  form and our team will assist you as soon as possible.

4.       I've logged in successfully, but why can't I see my previous history?

All future transactions will be recorded within the new APP and past transaction history will not be carried forward to this new mobile APP. 

5.       What should I do if I believe there is an error in my points or rewards balance after I updated and login to my account?

If you notice any discrepancies in your points or reward balance, please fill in https://marketing.outback.com.hk/appissue  form.  Our team will assist you as soon as possible.

6.       Is there anything different regarding the way I earn my points at the restaurant with the new APP?

Yes, we have streamlined the QR code process. All you need to do is show our staff the membership QR code on the APP before checking out at the restaurant, and they will add the points to your membership account.

7.       Is there a daily limit on how to accumulate points or use rewards using the APP?

Members can only accumulate bonus points three times per day and can only use one reward per day.  Please present the reward to our staff before placing the order.

8.       How is the validity period of Outback points calculated?

Outback points are expired in every March and September each year. Outback Points earned by members during the period from 1 April to 30 September of each year will expire on 31 March of the following year; Outback Points earned between 1 October and 31 March will expire on 30 September.  Rest assured that any points earned will not be lost due to a change in the membership expiration date.

9.       How long is my membership valid for?

There are two types of Outback Steakhouse membership. First, Outback VIP Club Membership has been upgraded from two-year validity to permanent validity, members only need to maintain a spending record within 24 months without reactivating again. Second, the Outback Prestige Club Membership is valid for two years, after which if you do not renew your Prestige Club Membership, the Prestige Club Membership will automatically become a VIP Club member. Any points and rewards, discounts, etc, associated with Prestige Club Membership will no longer be available.

10.   When should I renew my Outback Elite membership?

Outback Prestige Club members may renew their membership at any time during the validity period.  Upon successful renewal, in addition to the rewards provided for the renewal, the validity period of unused rewards received when you registered or renewed your existing membership will be extended by up to one membership year (two years).  Failed to renew the member in due course, members are required to re-apply for Outback Prestige Club Membership or be automatically become to Outback VIP Club Membership. In both circumstances, unused rewards earned because of Prestige Club membership in the original account will be forfeited. Since there is an update of the arrangement, we have extended the Outback Prestige Club Membership by 1 month for those Outback Prestige Club members whose membership expires between 13 May 2024 and 13 June 2024.

11.   What new features or benefits are available to members after the updated APP?

The upgraded Outback Steakhouse mobile APP has been enhanced in terms of interfaces and functions, including:

·         The overall operation is simpler and smoother, and the member login is faster.

·         Outback members simply need to present the QR code in the APP to earn points in real-time.

·         Outback members can redeem their points for rewards by simply presenting the QR code in the APP at the restaurant.

·         The Outback VIP membership is upgraded from a two-year validity period to a permanent one, and members only need to maintain a spending record within 24 months without reactivating again.

·         The Outback Loyalty Program will include different types of rewards and other experiences to provide more choices and meet different members’ needs.

12.   How can I provide feedback or report a problem with a new APP?
